Popup windows aren't responding

If IE/Mozilla (or any other browser) hangs when you try to open a popup window, follow the link:

I followed the link but did not have to do the registry  editing. I worked it backwords and before I completed the instructions, everything was fine. First I restarted the machine. Then unistalled Java (not using the run command but from the control panel). Then I ran the run command for unistalling INFs (has to do with HW). Before restarting again, I tested to see if the web browser still hangs, and lol all that was gone. I'll restart it next year. Take care this festive season, as nothing makes scence especially this festive season. Happy programming!
